Custom Fields

Add custom input fields to the checkout form to collect additional information from customers during payment.
Adding Custom Fields
Click "Add custom field" to create a new field. Each field has the following properties:
| Property | Description |
|---|---|
| Type | The input type: Text, Textarea, Select, or Checkbox |
| Name | The field label displayed to customers |
| Required | Whether the field must be filled in before payment |
Field Types
- Text — Single-line text input (e.g., email address, phone number)
- Textarea — Multi-line text input (e.g., delivery instructions, notes)
- Select — Dropdown menu with predefined options
- Checkbox — A checkbox for yes/no questions (e.g., "I agree to terms")
Custom Fields Title
You can set a custom title that appears above the custom fields section on the checkout form.
Location: Settings → Appearance → Custom Fields Title
Use Cases
- Collect customer email for order confirmation
- Ask for a license key or account ID to associate with the payment
- Add a terms and conditions checkbox
- Collect shipping information for physical goods
