Third-party blockchain explorer API keys for enhanced transaction monitoring. These keys improve reliability and speed of payment verification.

Supported Providers

ProviderDescription
BlockdaemonMulti-chain blockchain infrastructure. Supports BTC, ETH, SOL, and more.
TatumBlockchain development platform with unified API for 40+ chains.
EtherscanEthereum blockchain explorer API. Recommended for ERC-20 token verification.
EthplorerAlternative Ethereum token explorer. Useful as a fallback for ERC-20 tokens.
BscScanBNB Smart Chain explorer API. Required for BEP-20 token verification.

Do I Need These?

QuantaPay works out of the box without any API keys by using public blockchain explorers. However, adding API keys provides:

  • Higher rate limits — Public endpoints may throttle requests during peak times
  • Better reliability — Dedicated API keys ensure consistent uptime
  • Faster verification — Priority access to blockchain data

For most merchants, we recommend at minimum:

  • Etherscan — If you accept ETH or ERC-20 tokens (USDT, USDC, LINK, etc.)
  • BscScan — If you accept BNB or BEP-20 tokens (USDT BSC, BUSD)

All API keys are free to obtain from their respective provider websites.
