Testnet Mode

Location: Settings → System → Testnets

Enable testnet networks for development and testing. Testnet transactions use test coins with no real value.

Available Testnets

NetworkDescription
Bitcoin TestnetBitcoin testnet3 network. Get test BTC from faucets.
Ethereum SepoliaEthereum Sepolia testnet. Get test ETH from Sepolia faucet.

How to Use

  1. Enable the desired testnet(s) in settings.
  2. Enter your testnet wallet addresses in the Cryptocurrency Addresses section (Settings → Payments).
  3. Create test checkout sessions via the API.
  4. Pay with testnet coins from a testnet wallet.
  5. Verify the full payment flow works as expected.

Important Notes

  • Do not mix mainnet and testnet addresses. Testnet addresses use different formats.
  • Disable testnets before going live. Testnet transactions are not real payments.
  • To use Ethereum Sepolia, also set the Network to "Sepolia" in your Ethereum Node settings (Settings → System → Ethereum Node).
  • Bitcoin Testnet addresses typically start with tb1, m, or n.
